Hi, I'm Hardyal Singh, a System Administrator and aspiring entrepreneur passionate about problem-solving, learning, and using technology to create meaningful impact. Ever since I was young, I’ve been drawn to computers and technology, always eager to explore, fix, and improve systems. This curiosity has shaped my career and continues to fuel my drive to innovate and grow.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology with a concentration in cybersecurity at Purdue University Indianapolis. Along the way, I’ve honed skills in system administration, database analysis, automation, and process optimization. Whether it’s digging through logs, building automated solutions, or troubleshooting complex IT challenges, I take pride in finding answers and crafting effective resolutions.

But my goals go far beyond a professional title. My vision is to start a software company that empowers businesses to grow and thrive with accessible, scalable technology. I want my success to be a platform for creating global change—through building companies, launching initiatives, or giving back to communities in need. Everything I do is deeply inspired by my desire to honor my family and leave a legacy that reflects our values.

Outside of work, I turn to basketball, gaming, and swimming to relax and recharge. Music, especially R&B, jazz, and old-school hip-hop, is my way of connecting with emotions and finding peace. I’ve always embraced creativity, understanding, and imagination, which guide how I see the world. My perspective balances logic and empathy—I believe there’s truth and value on both sides of any discussion.

In five years, I see myself as a high-level IT manager, collaborating with top professionals and shaping business strategies. Beyond the corporate world, I dream of becoming a speaker or author, sharing stories and ideas that inspire others to think differently and reach for their goals.

My Journey

2022 - Taking My First Steps in IT

My IT career began at Tek Experts as a Technical Support Engineer. This role sharpened my troubleshooting skills, introduced me to server management, and gave me a solid foundation in solving complex technical issues for diverse clients.

2024 - Advancing to System Administration

I joined Allied Solutions as a System Administrator, where I deepened my expertise in managing IT systems. My role involves overseeing both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and enhancing system performance through innovative solutions.

Present - Growing as an IT Professional

Today, I am focused on advancing my IT career while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology. My goal is to gain the technical and managerial skills needed to lead teams and provide innovative business solutions. I strive to bridge IT operations with business insights, ensuring systems not only function efficiently but also drive organizational success.

Basketball & Sports

Basketball has always been a passion of mine, offering an outlet for both competition and personal growth. The sport has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork. I also enjoy other activities like swimming and ping pong, which help me stay active and focused.

Gaming

Gaming is a passion I’ve carried for years, especially playing titles like Call of Duty and NBA 2K. I even competed in Call of Duty tournaments with friends, honing my strategic thinking and teamwork under pressure. Gaming remains a great way for me to unwind and challenge my skills.
